About AmpUp Adapt
How the Program Works
We are proud to introduce AmpUp Adapt, launching in 2025 with support from a State of Connecticut grant. AmpUp Adapt will revolutionize grid resiliency by shifting EV charging to off-peak times (3:00 pm—9:00 pm, Monday – Friday). Our smart charging technology balances electricity demand, ensuring a more stable grid. Enrolled sites and EV drivers who demonstrate charging flexibility can earn money for their participation. Join us in creating a more resilient and efficient energy future.
Enroll with Ease
Once your chargers are enrolled in the program, AmpUp takes it from there, no further action is required from you.
Incentivize Drivers
AmpUp will notify your drivers via app notifications, motivating them to delay the start of their peak period charging sessions in exchange for a charging credit.
Increase Your Revenue
By encouraging more drivers to participate and charge during off-peak hours, your overall revenue will increase. The more drivers who take part, the more you can earn!
Please Note
By indicating your interest in adding more chargers on the enrollment form, AmpUp will reach out to discuss your options. AmpUp will assess funding eligibility individually; sites with plans for ten or more Level 2 chargers are preferred. Qualified projects must be online and ready to enroll by January 2025. The deadline to apply for the program is August 30th, 2024.
