Get Up to $25,000 in EV Project Funding

AmpUp Adapt is a pilot program for Level 2 EV chargers for commercial, multi-family, or public properties in Connecticut. The goal is to improve overall grid performance and reduce driver costs while maximizing revenue for charging station owners.

If you've been considering expanding your EV infrastructure, now is the time. This rebate program helps site hosts install new chargers or replace faulty ones, offering up to $25,000 in project funding. This can be used to replace existing Enel X, EVBox, and Juicebar units as well!

  • New installations can get 3 years of AmpUp Pro Software even if using Eversource’s Make-Ready Program OR
  • Rip and Replace faulty chargers with new ones and get 3 years of AmpUp Pro Software at no cost.

How the Program Works

We are proud to introduce AmpUp Adapt, launching in 2025 with support from a State of Connecticut grant. AmpUp Adapt will revolutionize grid resiliency by shifting EV charging to off-peak times (3:00 pm—9:00 pm, Monday – Friday). Our smart charging technology balances electricity demand, ensuring a more stable grid. Enrolled sites and EV drivers who demonstrate charging flexibility can earn money for their participation. Enroll with Ease

Once your chargers are enrolled in the program, AmpUp takes it from there, no further action is required from you.

Incentivize Drivers

AmpUp will notify your drivers via app notifications, motivating them to delay the start of their peak period charging sessions in exchange for a charging credit.

Increase Your Revenue

By encouraging more drivers to participate and charge during off-peak hours, your overall revenue will increase. The more drivers who take part, the more you can earn!

Please Note

By indicating your interest in adding more chargers on the enrollment form, AmpUp will reach out to discuss your options. AmpUp will assess funding eligibility individually; sites with plans for ten or more Level 2 chargers are preferred. Qualified projects must be online and ready to enroll by March 1, 2025.
