AmpUp Adapt is a pilot program for Level 2 EV chargers in Connecticut, designed for commercial, multi-family, and public properties. It enhances grid performance, lowers driver costs, and maximizes revenue for station owners. This rebate program offers up to $25,000 for new installations or replacements—including Enel X, EVBox, and Juicebar units. Now’s the time to expand your EV infrastructure!
About AmpUp Adapt
We are proud to introduce AmpUp Adapt, launching in 2025 with support from a State of Connecticut grant. AmpUp Adapt will revolutionize grid resiliency by shifting EV charging to off-peak times (3:00 pm—9:00 pm, Monday – Friday). Our smart charging technology balances electricity demand, ensuring a more stable grid. Enrolled sites and EV drivers who demonstrate charging flexibility can earn money for their participation. Join us in creating a more resilient and efficient energy future.
Once your chargers are enrolled in the program, AmpUp takes it from there, no further action is required from you.
AmpUp will notify your drivers via app notifications, motivating them to delay the start of their peak period charging sessions in exchange for a charging credit.
By encouraging more drivers to participate and charge during off-peak hours, your overall revenue will increase. The more drivers who take part, the more you can earn!
Please Note: By indicating your interest in adding more chargers on the enrollment form, AmpUp will reach out to discuss your options. AmpUp will assess funding eligibility individually; sites with plans for ten or more Level 2 chargers are preferred. Qualified projects must be online and ready to enroll by March 1, 2025.
