Our past projects range from electric car-sharing to electric bike-sharing and we’re now launching a car-sharing pilot in Hood River, OR. The donation will also support the development of focused programming for our partners which include OEMs, utilities, startups and other organizations working to advance electric and smart mobility.

Funds will be used to conduct ride and drive events and educational workshops about the benefits of EVs. These activities are highly effective at dispelling common misperceptions, illuminating rebates and other cost benefits, while providing positive first-drive experiences.

Clean Air Partnership (CAP) enables communities to improve air quality, advance active transportation, and take bold climate action. We convene networks, lead research and knowledge transfer, and catalyze transformative action. A project of CAP is the Clean Air Council (CAC). CAC is Canada’s largest municipal peer-to-peer climate action network. A network of 28 municipalities and public health units representing over 9 million people. Our members have worked collaboratively on more than 1000 clean air and sustainability initiatives, which resulted in a significant reduction of their operational energy cost by hundreds of millions. CAC members reduced over 13.7 million tonnes of carbon from 1990-2017.

The Palmetto Clean Fuels Coalition (PCF) is an initiative of the Office of Regulatory Staff – Energy Office. PCF works to increase the use of alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technologies in South Carolina. PCF is part of the Clean Cities program, one of nearly 100 designated coalitions in the United States. The US Department of Energy (DOE) approved the application for PCF’s designation in 2003, recognizing the commitment of our stakeholders to building an alternative fuels market in South Carolina as a statewide coalition in 2004.

One of our current projects is “Look Ahead”, an immersive VR experience that provides users with a 360° tour of how climate change may threaten familiar places and encourages them to take action, such as supporting EV incentives and infrastructure in their city.
