AmpUp Welcomes Li Zhang as Chief Technology Officer

CUPERTINO, CA, September 8, 2021 — AmpUp is excited to welcome Li Zhang as our new Chief Technology Officer. Li brings over 15 years of software engineering and management experience from Airbnb, Google, and Facebook.
 

Li joins AmpUp following his role as Director of Engineering at Airbnb, where he led a team of over 100 engineers for the end-to-end consumer-facing experience on Airbnb websites and mobile apps. Prior to Airbnb, Li was a software engineer and manager at Google and Facebook respectively. He was an integral part to the development of Facebook’s most popular features, including News Feed.

Li earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Tsinghua University and a Master of Science degree from the University of Southern California.
